( How I interpret Hugo's character and why. )

On a note that's slightly different and more related to my play of him, if he is giving your character creepy vibes that they can definitively identify (i.e. "oh, yes, he's abusing his son*,") as opposed to general (i.e. "hmm something may not quite be right here, but he's not doing anything suspicious,") please let me know, as it means that I need to adjust my play to be more true to canon. This is a dude who has the king and a great many people eating out of the palm of his hand.
